Community Development Projects

Community development projects have three major sub divisions which are divided on the purpose of the project.

Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation

Disaster relief & rehabilitation projects are working bodies to respond at any crisis condition to provide emergency relief services and rehabilitation in mean time.
The recent economic crisis in Sri Lanka led the country to be among the top ten countries with high malnutrition & the unfolding economic crisis will extend it further. Rising food
& fuel prices along with shortages of life saving medicine has led for a drastic fracture of health & well-being of the poorest and the disadvantaged within the country.
The emergency relief and rehabilitation team of Mother Charitable Foundation worked massively on behalf of the nutrition and the health status of the disadvantaged and the emergency relief projects implemented are lined up in food and health projects respectively.

In 2020 when the COVID 19 pandemic caused a desperate situation among many communities across the island and our emergency relief team was able to implement emergency relief services to fulfill the basic requirements of the affected persons. Following images are a few flashbacks of what we did.

Livelihood Assistance

The main objective of Livelihood assistance is to arrange a way of earning for the disadvantaged individuals whom struggle to earn a living.

Other

Other community development projects include case studies & minor projects of assisting communities & selected groups on basic necessities of everyday life.
